So while Pimsleur does a great job of getting you to grok a foreign language as spoken and heard, this approach concentrates on essential words and phrases by using virtual flash cards with audio and visual clues. There are hundreds of lists (restaurant1, restaurant2, bathroom, emergencies, greetings, ...) that you can choose and when you do, you learn to translate Turkish-English spoken, English-Turkish spoken and then actually type the answers both ways too. It keeps track of words that have become stale too.
