EuroTalk Interactive - Talk Now Learn Farsi (Persian) ReviewI enjoy using this product, its a simple easy way to get some basic vocabulary established with Farsi. However, this is NOT a cheap alternative to Rosetta Stone. I have used Rosetta Stone (in Spanish) and it is much beter, but also much more expensive. If you want to become fluent in Farsi go with Rosetta Stone. Basically what this product does is go over some basic vocabulary words. I am engaged to a Persian so I wanted to get a little more familiar with the language but eventually I will upgrade to Rosetta. This program allows you to listen to both a male and female say the word in Farsi and then you can record your own saying of the word and listen back to it and compare what you said to what the person speaking said. There are also some matching games that are kind of fun. The problem with the software is that it feels like it could have been made for a classroom computer from 1989.
